Refunds & returns
We want you to love your purchase! If you’ve changed your mind, here is how our return process works in line with UK consumer law.
1. The 14-Day Window
You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to notify us that you’d like to return it. Once you’ve let us know, you have another 14 days to get the item back to us.
2. Shipping Costs
Returning the item: For “change of mind” returns, you are responsible for the cost of return postage. We strongly recommend using a tracked service, as we can only process refunds once the item reaches us.
Your original postage: If you return your entire order, we will refund the cost of the standard delivery you paid at checkout. (If you chose an express/premium service, we only refund the amount of our standard shipping).
3. Condition of Items
Please handle the items with care—think of it like trying something on in a shop. To receive a full refund, items must be returned in a re-saleable condition. If an item is returned heavily used or damaged, we may make a deduction from the refund to cover the loss in value.
4. Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns for:
Sale items marked as “Final Sale.”
5. How to start a return
Message us: Send a DM on Instagram or email us at hello@hapeafood.com with your order number.
Post it back: We will provide the return address. Please include your name and order number inside the package.
Get your refund: Once we receive and check the item, we’ll process your refund to your original payment method within 10 working days.
Faulty items: If something arrives damaged or isn’t what you ordered, please let us know immediately! We will cover all shipping costs to fix the issue.
